I created a website called Hands on Science which teaches science concepts with clay.

Challenge
My goal was to create an educational website using hand coded HTML and CSS.
Approach
The target audience for this site is kids around 10 years old. Many kids that I talked to were much more interested in making things with Sculpey clay than reading about latitude and longitude. So, I invented the "Hands on Science" website.
Results
The Hands on Science website encourages kids to play with clay while they learn about latitude, longitude and GPS coordinates. The final page of the site shows some great things you can do when you know about latitude and longitude.
